My kids are on summer vacation and they stayed in bed until 10AM. They usually sleep in my bed and when Sally woke me up it was 9.50AM. Fantastic. We always make our own breakfast on weekends so we went downstairs to set the table and then Gillis wanted to show me the summer vacation show on TV. I got very nostalgic. I loved all the summer shows as a kid and watched them all. I might be wrong but wasn’t one of them called Alarm? There was also one about the middle ages, the Milky Way and one about a hotel?
I loved all of them.
One of my kids loves deli food and a child who has been vegetarian for two years without exceptions.
After breakfast (around 11) we painted our nails before we got ready for…
A day on the sea with the boat and Axel! Finally!
Ready for a day at sea
When the kids fell asleep in the downstairs I decided to sunbathe, so cozy.
And when the kids woke up, they joined me while Axel steered the boat.
Gillis and Sally were overjoyed when we drove past the theme park and saw ”Snake”
When we got hungry, we pulled in by Fjäderholmarna and had food at Rökeriet, a lovely place in the archipelago. You can get there with a normal boat, which I recommend if you’re visiting Stockholm this summer.
We ate caviar, skagen and their own smoked salmon.
After lunch we carried on and stopped by a bay and swam in the water.
18 degrees, brrr….but still nice.
We have a beach by our pier so when we got back we wanted to swim more. A real summer’s day. I still pinch myself when I realise this is where my home is. The kids and I had dinner in Stockholm. Anna, who cooks our food, is on holiday so we’ve been trying out new restaurants. Gillis and Sally fell asleep late because we woke up late. They are fast asleep now and it’s 10PM.
I’m just about to take my vitamins (perks of living in the USA every month, lots of health inspo) and then sit down to work. We have a day off tomorroe but we’re off to Almedalen on Monday with the team and it’ll be exciting to say the least
