What a lovely Saturday! It began with a babyshower at home for Pingis:
My kids participated and were very excited!
Diaper cake, lots of snacks and ”mummy to be”
Beautiful, clever Pingis. It’s hard to believe that she didn’t want to be a mom when we first met. But then David came along and changed everything. It’s beautiful to see how love can change so much. David and Pingis will be incredible parents. I can’t wait to meet their littlr daughter. Sally is so happy to get ”two babies this autumn”. Ida who is part of my home team and Pingis. Almost at the same time.
Sally feels responsible:
”Mommy, it’ll be really tough foe me. I’ll have to give up my dummy and gruel.”
… :- )
After the babyshower we were ready with the picnic basket and dinner. It was time for a premier ride with the boat for myself, the kids, Ida and Lovisa.
My goal is to handle the boat myself but with two kids I’m not quite brave enough right now. Wilma and Axel were with us today to talk us through the boat and freshen up my memories from my marriage days when we spent a lot of time at Vindö. Wilma will be helping me through the summer, a fun addition to the team. I can’t really be alone with the kids on this boat so I’m grateful for the help
It’s so much easier when you have a display that shows you everything. The plan was to visit Grinda but we decided on Vaxholm because we got hungry. Tomorrow we’ll visit Grinda or Sandhamn. Fun!
I deove to Vaxholm and Wilma drove back. Pushing in is the most difficult part. But with a bit of practice I’ll learn the technique. I love that you can nove the boat sideways. It’s really handy.
This will be a cozy bed.
We had our dinner on board (gah I have a boat!) and came home late just in time for bed. We’ll be going out after breakfast tomorrow and can’t wait. I’m looking forward to jumping into the water for a swim.
It’s midnight and I’m working on my summer program. My deadline is Monday evening and on Tuesday I’ll record it.
