Oh my god, what a week. So many fun things, enormous challenges, situations that are constantly changes and the decisions. I’m always proud of my team but this week has been special (and May will look like that throughout the month). We’ve known that we have a combination of minute schedule and still needing to be on standby if that combination gets too tough to deal with. But I’ll be checking out soon for the Weekend and I can happily tell you we’ve aced this week. Everyone is going to rest now and then we’re starting over on Monday.
But it’s not weekend just yet. We have a meeting race in London all Friday. I’m checking out mentaly on at 7PM. Then I’m going to leave all social media alone and be offline for two days. It’s okay to work a lot and have a high stresslevel IF you take time for recovery. That’s how you make it work. I’m going to spend time asleep, going to SPAs and eating lots of food this weekend. I’m staying at the Berkley which I usually do when I’m in London and want to shut myself in and rest by myself. It’ll be divine.
When I look back on 2019 I’ve realised that it’s become my way to make my day work. Keep working at a quick space and find one weekend per month (usually in NYC) where I totally check out. It’ll be London this weekend because of the meetings. I don’t think I’ll leave the hotel much.
Sleep sleep and slep…:-)
Yesterday I did the second interview of the week for Nordic Business Forum but in Oslo. The first was at Cirkus on Tuesday. A huge audience!
My dress is from Hugo Boss. I also live streamed yesterday with Maddie Savage, she interviewed me for the BBC earlier. When we were done in Oslo, half the gang flew to London and the other half to Stockholm.
It’s such a luxury to fly with my make up artist Emelie. This morning she helped me get ready around 7AM in peace and quiet…
I always order breakfast to the room while my hair is being blowdried.
First meeting at Firmdales hotell!
We’re going to keep working for a while but I’ll talk to you on Sunday…:-)
