Last week I chose to talk about a company creating intimate body products, a company who really listened to what people want. There are many more companies I want to shine a light on, companies who listen to where we are in today’s society whether it’s about tampons, food or travel.
Mat.se is one of those companies. They’re a modern company I’ve been working with for a long time. It’s fun to see how they take on board what the consumers want. I’m really passionate about the way Mat.se want to help their customers. They want the customers to get a clearer insight into their food consumption and behaviour.
Mat.se have created an interesting tool they are calling the statistical centre. This tool allows all customers tonsee the information about their purchase in kronor, how much they saved, how many eco-friendly products they buy, where the food comes from and so on.
You can have a look at our purchases here. As you can see, we buy a lot of chocolate because that’s what we consume a lot at home. The fact that Spanish and Italian food are a close second is probably because of all the fruit and berries we eat. But we will make up for it in another way.
As ypu probably know, Hans Rosling has been one of my role models for many years. He showed that if you want to make a difference in the world and enlighten people, you have to make the information easily accessible and easy to take on board. When you log in and look at your food statistic at mat.se, it might make you think differently and make different choices next time. Maybe you thought 10% of the products you bought were ecological but it turned out to be more than that.
If you’re brave enough, take a look at your food statistic and see how you can make a difference as a consumer. It’s very exciting that Mat.se are finding new ways and tools to become more climate-conscious. Right now, all new customers get 200 kronor off a 700 kronor purchase when you use the code ISABELLA200. I will be buying more chocolate!
