Yesterday Simon, Charlotte and I went to NOI after work. NOI is somewhat of an hidden gem in Stockholm. It’s in Hotel Nobis and has been a favorite since they opened. It’s like the chef has taken everything I love and put it on the menu. Large shrimps in chili, octopus, burrata, bleak roe, tuna, beets with grilled goat cheese, fennel salad with pecorino, broccoli, fried black kale and lovely carrots. We ordered everything and shared. Yum. Everyone was to full for dessert, but they have an amazing “ice cream plate” with cones that you fill, and lot of chocolate and other add-ons. Everytime I’m at a place like this I have a dream of owning my own restaurant. But unfortunately that’s not in my pipeline in the upcoming years.
The stairs down to NOI. When you’ve grown up in Stockholm and become older you’ve seen places come and go during the years, that’s why there are so many memories from all different places. Down here was the nightclub The Village located where I celebrated my 18th birthday. Or before that I had rented the entire Café Opera (always been thinking big, hehe), and then we went here before White Room.
Now ten years later…
… I’m sitting here with this team! My COO Simon and sales manager Charlotte. Charlotte is responsible for everything commercial regarding me and my channels. Three hours felt like a few minutes. A lot of laughter and big visions. I asked Charlotte if she would like to spend a week per month in NYC when I’m there. It’s time to look for more international partnerships, and then she could take all the meetings during that week while I work with Löwengrip and PR. She said yes, so where starting in April, fun! It’s always fun to be the manager and ask questions like “Do you want to live in NYC every month?”. For Löwengrip Invest’s part I see this as the next step. The commercial partnerships I book need to be global.
I started my morning at the gym with Pontus. Heavy but great. Now I’m ready to meet my Wednesday! Hugs to you!
