Last night’s dinner with Condé Nast was a success, it was a work dinner so my brain constantly active so I wouldn’t forget questions and so I could answer as many questions as possible. Other than the UK gang, it was myself, Pingis and Martina Bonnier. Ida and Matilda helped out at home.
Matilda’s menu was sooo delicious:
The dessert was one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time. I had to sneak out during dinner and ask Matilda if there was any more left. I could see myself in the company of brownies all weekend ha ha..
Pingis and I are ready for new adventures! Our eyes were so tired yesterday but it feels safe to lean on each other and find energy together. It’s been like that over the years, one of us has needed more encouragement for the moment than the other and then they get support. I’m grateful for that.
Here’s THE recipe for raw brownie layer cake with condensed coconut milk.
3 dl walnuts
1 dl peanuts
4 dl dates (seeds removed)
2-3 tbsp coconut oil
1 pinch salt
1 dl cocoa powder
Mix walnuts and peanuts until they’re finely chopped. Add remaining ingredients and mix together. Press out the base into a baking tray of your choice ca 14x20cm. Freeze for 20-30 minutes betweeen the three different layers.
Condensed coconut milk (not heated)
Spread out over the first layer as it is.
2 ripe avocados
4-5 dates (without seeds)
1 tsp vanilla powder
Ca 1/2 dl agave syrup (to taste)
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 dl cocoa powder
Mix everything evenly and spread over the second layer.
Serve with blackberries, raspberries and pomegranate seeds. Top with cocoa nibs and sea salt.
The wise, brave and beautiful Martina
I had a long sought-after bath when I woke up this morning. My supersmart and ambitious brand manager for Löwengrip Hannah (she was our first employee) have, together with our sales manager Lina, launched ANYWHERE! I’m SO PROUD! Hannah stil works with Löwengrip but Lina has unfortunately moved on. Anyway, I’ve had a front row seat and watched their company go from idea to reality and I love these journeys. I asked if I could invest in the company (my fingers itch when i see such a brilliant business idea) but I wasn’t allowed! That answer actually made me happy. But I get to push the brand for them and I’d gladly do that. I’m so proud of you Hannah and Lina
ANYWHERE is a brand that makes gorgeous pyjamas and at-home clothes. In the beginning, Hannah said to me ”When I’m at home in my comfy clothes I still want to open the front door without being ashamed.” So right!
Have a look here and see what they’ve created
