Good morning! It’s pretty awesome that you can just jump out of bed at 04.45 because you know you have fun things ahead. Emelie knocked on my door at 5AM and then we started getting ready and were done wtihin an hour and then it was Pingis’ turn. It’s so nice to not have to get myself ready in the morning. I can’t see going back to that anytime soon.
The room was so cold that I sat with my bathrobe and my duvet wrapped around me.
Today’s outfit was a cashmir jumper from Pillowtalk. I really love that brand. They’re the loveliest knitted jumpers I’ve ever worn. I own this model which is a bit tighter and another one that’s more oversize. The skirt is from Boss and heels Mango. It’s rare to find heels comfortable for flying, that means so comfortable you can rush around and airport but these heels are.
The meeting at the hotel is probably one of the most mportant meetings of 2019, I can’t tell you much more unfortunately. But we had a good feeling afterwards.
At Heathrow I bought a Paddington bear and a red bus for the kids. I like buying something that fits the city/country I’ve visited. They got a russian doll from Moscow. I’ve just landed and now I’m going to pick the kids up a bit earlier.
I saw someone commenting that I’m a bad mom because I travel sometimes. I don’t feel guilty over it. It’s the opposite, I’m proud over the way my kids are raised. They get a more normal every day life with their dad and with me it’s more mom-time because I never have to do household chores. We have cozy times together and do things all the time together because I have energy for it. I saw the happiness in their eyes after a day with Ida and Lovisa and that warms my mommy-heart. Imagine two grown ups who are there to help them have fun. They really don’t suffer, instead they’re privileged.
