I’ve really missed the whole gang today! It felt luxurious to kickstart the new work year with a Friday content day at home. Today we did work for Netjets, Fabled in UK and Kicks. Lots of clips in English which takes a bit of time but I like being challenged. You can’t grow otherwise.
I’ve also hired a new assistant called Felicia which is fun. She started working extra and at the same time we placed an ad because Pingis and I wanted to share a PA. During winter we’ve met with a few candidates who looked good on paper but I didn’t click with them. I know I can be a complicated person and if I don’t like someone I can’t work with them. I have zero pokerface. In the middle of recruitment and my chaotic winter privately, I asked Felicia if she wanted the job. I asked her to think about it because she’d be both mine and Pingis P which isn’t an easy match. Our schedules and calendar are crazy and we expect the same pace from everyone around us. It doesn’t suit just anyone.
We actually demanded a person with previous experience as CEO assistant (not an easy job) but Felicia made such a positive impression on me despite just being 18 years old (!). So Simon is going to have to put time aside to train her but it’s worth it. I’m so happy to have her onboard. If I’ve realised anything it’s to keep talented people and invest in your employees. Simon was only 21 when he got the job and now he’s managing 12 people so everything works if you have somebody who believes in you.
Matilda’s second day!
Soup made with ginger, carrot, turmeric and some other things. Oh my god, so delicious.
Really love to suit up….
I love my new long fringe.
What a luxury to work in a kimono and slippers (Flattered) hehe. We’re on the way now – go 2019!
