My Week

I have an intense week ahead. But I’m happy because it contains so many different things and the variation makes me happy.

This week’s big challenge: I’m giving a talk at Bloxpo which is at Friends Arena. To talk in English at this enormous lecture hall around Block Chain is not something I normally do. I’ll really be stepping out of my comfort zone and now I have a mix of butterflies, excitement and a vomit-feeling in my body. Simon saw my facial expression this morning when we went through the week and knows me 100%. Simon said ”Isabella, you know how it’ll go, you’ll get off stage and think yes, I grew now – You love that!”
Block chain-technique is something I think is very fascinating from a democratic point of you and can see how we can use it in our companies in the future. It WILL be fun to talk about it but of course I feel a challenge for Thursday. But you can’t grow as a person if we don’t put ourselves in situations that are difficult or outside our comfort zones.

This week’s creativity: We have a big beauty shoot on Wednesday with Löwengrip. We have to take 15 photos and it takes a whole day. There’s a lot to sort out beforehand, I did the nails last week. This afternoon it’s spraytan and the evening before I prep a lot with our serum and sleeping sensation on my face. Then I sleep with The Cure facemask. The secret for a skin and hair shine truly is moisture. I also make sure to drink a lot of water the days before, otherwise the skin gets a bit pasty.

This week’s food and exercise: I’ve had a weekend without exercise and I’ve eaten anything I’ve felt like. Really nice. Hampus and I had a whole tray of apple pie this weekend with good champagne. And gosh how I’ve eaten bread and butter! That type of food works during a calm weekend but not when I need to make sure I’m on top. Now it’ll be more scrambled eggs, hefty sallads, lots of green and more tea instead of coffee. As far as exercise is concerned, I did a strength-session with focus on legs this morning. Tomorrow I have a session with PT and I want to have time for a third session with yoga this week I won’t have time for more than that but I’m going to be outdoors with the kids after nursery in the afternoon to play. Otherwise it’s easy to miss the daylight.

This week’s social-life: I’m meeting a lot of fun people this week. Creandum have a dinner I’m invited to tomorrow. They’re an investment company who were early with Spotify, for example. There’s always a lot of fun entreprenurs at a diner like that, it gives me energy. On Thursday Löwengrip have a breakfast-event, I’m having lunch with Gunhild and Petter Stordalen and on Friday evening (after I’ve participated at Norrköping’s economy-fair) Pingis and I are having a party to celebrate six years as company-partners.

The main challenge this week is preparing for everything. Not being ready is the worst thing I know. I’ve asked Simon to put down times for it. Another challenge is to shut off works when I pick up the kids and really not think about it until after bedtime. It’ll be a matter of balencing everything I’m going to work after 9PM at home or sleep with the kids in order to have energy for early mornings further ahead in the week. The important thing will be to listen to my body during the week and not ignore the messages. On Friday night I’ll need to keep an eye on myself. I have a tendency to go all in at work during the week and when it’s Friday evening (child-free) and there are parties it can easily be too much wine in a short space of time. Because I want to wind down. My plan is to go for a walk or have a powernap after I’m back from Norrköping on Friday so I can be more calm when our party starts. Anyhow, it’s an intense but fun week ahead! The feeling is not unlike going for a long run on high speed. On Sunday and Saturday I’m resting.
